Ofcom Consults on a Variation to the MIS Undertakings
Ofcom are consulting on a variation to the Undertakings clarifying what BT will deliver and when in terms of changes to its Management Information Systems. The consultation can be seen at http://www.ofcom.org.uk/consult/condocs/mis/.
The proposed variation sets out how the Management Information Systems will be separated and by when, and shows the individual systems involved and what they do. BT has analysed more than 1000 systems to identify those where some form of separation is required. From 22 September BT had those separations in place.
BT continues to work with Ofcom, as the Undertakings require, on its systems plans and on the approach to OSS systems separation.
