Openreach's Wholesale Extension Services EoI Developments

One of the major milestones that Openreach must deliver this year is the launch of Wholesale Extension Service (WES) products on an Equivalence of Inputs basis. As a result the WES Customer Forum has been running a series of meetings with customers to discuss the design and project plans for an equivalent WES product. After collating customers' requirements, the meetings have progressed to debating the outcome of the feasibility studies and agreeing how the requirements identified by Openreach's customers fit into the EoI delivery milestone of 30 September 2006.

The Openreach product development team are absolutely determined to hit the 30 September delivery date and fully intend to ensure customers are informed and involved in the project as it progresses.  Accordingly a number of activities are running in parallel to hit the deadline.
