BT Publishes First Quarterly KPIs Against Undertakings
BT published its first set of quarterly KPIs against the undertakings on January 31st 2006.
The Undertakings require that BT prepare and publish Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) relevant to the Undertakings on a quarterly basis, with the first report published within three months of the establishment of the Equality of Access Board. The EAB was established on November 1st 2005, three months ahead of the requirement in the Undertakings. As a result this first set of KPIs was provided three months earlier than was originally envisaged when the Undertakings were offered.
The KPI report is available here Key Performance Indicators. BT welcomes feedback on the report from customers.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) play an important role in assuring all of the stakeholders concerned with BT's performance that the Undertakings are being delivered. In recognition of this BT has decided to publish not only traditional product KPIs but also to show how we are progressing with key Undertakings individually, as well as sharing information regarding the training and other cultural measures being taken to promote compliance.
BT intends that the nature and scope of the KPIs reported will develop over time, in the light of feedback from users, advice from the EAB, and as BT delivers the equivalence required of it from the agreed product portfolio.
The information is in three parts:
· Details of the Undertakings that BT has achieved to date
· Product KPIs which are relevant to the Undertakings
· Statistics regarding compliance and related activities.
The information in the report is only a small part of the KPIs which BT publishes for the industry and other interested parties. Further reports are available on the BT Wholesale site (www.btwholesale.com).
