Progress towards retail SHDS IBMC
BT is pleased to announce that the majority of the installed base of BT’s retail Short Haul Data Services Services (excluding those covered by exemptions) was successfully migrated to EOI status over the weekend of 16th/17th June 2007.
This concerned BT’s LES10, LES10 Local Reach, LES100, LES 155, LES1000, LES Extended Reach, CES1000, LES2500, LES 622 and LES10000 products. Some work to migrate services that had orders in progress continued over the next two weeks and all were completed by 29th June 2007.
BT Global Services continues to monitor services in progress of cessation but these are expected to be completed by 30 September 2007. The IBMC date for the migration of these LES services to Openreach EOI products (WES, BES and WEES) is 30th September 2007 (see exemptions #12, 13 and 14 of Ofcom’s Statement of 15th June 2006).
